Allah Most High says in the Holy Quran:
And keep your garments thoroughly clean and pure. Surah Mudassir (74:04)
and also says:
Did we not create you from a drop of abominable fluid? Surah Mursalaat (77:20)
and also says:
(Allah Most High created for you) from the wool and fur and hair of animals, household goods and goods of profit for an (appointed) time. Surah Nahl (16:80)
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him), he said that the Holy Prophet (Sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) said: When a dog puts its muzzle in any of your utensils and drinks from it, then empty that vessel (i.e. throw away what that utensil contained) and wash that utensil 3 times.
This is related by Ibn ‘Adi and Daraqutni has also related similarly as a Marfu’ Hadith.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him), he said: When a dog puts it muzzle in any utensil and consumes from it, then throw away what was in that utensil and wash the utensil 3 times.
This is related by Daraqutni in a Mauquf manner and it is mentioned in Nasab ur Raaya that Shaykh Taqiuddin (May Allah shower His Mercy on him) in Al Imam that its chain of narration of this Hadith is well authenticated (Sahih) and Tahawi has also related the same.
It is related on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him) that when a dog would drink from a vessel, Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be well pleased with him) would empty the vessel and would then wash the vessel 3 times.
This is related by Daraqutni with a well authenticated chain of narration.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Mu’ammar (May Allah be well pleased with him), he said that I asked Imam Zuhri (May Allah shower His Mercy on him) about dogs drinking from a vessel and the Imam said that the vessel should be washed thrice.
This is related by ‘Abdur Razzaq.
An impure stretch of ground is purified when it dries up
This is related by Abu Dawood and he does not say anything about the chain of narration of this Hadith which for him is a sign of its authentication. Bukhari has also related similarly. Abu Dawood said that this Hadith is evidence that when the ground dries up, it is purified.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Muhammad bin Al Hanaffiya (May Allah be well pleased with him), he says: The purification of earth is its drying up.
This is related by Ibn Abi Shayba. In another Hadith of Ibn Abi Shayba, the same is related on the authority of Hadhrat Imam Abu Ja’afar Baqar (May Allah be well pleased with him).
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Qulaba (May Allah be well pleased with him), he said: The drying up of earth is its purification.
This is related by ‘Abdur Razzaq. Ibn Abi Shayba has also related similarly and all the narrators in his chain are the narrators of well authenticated narrations.
