Ya Nabi Sallam Alaika
The beloved Prophet sall Allāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam once asked the blessed Archangel Jibrā’īl ‘alayhis salām,
“Jibra’īl! How old are you?”
Jibrā’īl ‘alayhis salām replied,
“O Messenger of Allah sall Allāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam, I don’t know how old I am, but I do know that in the fourth veil, I saw a star shine once every 70,000 years, and I have seen this 72,000 times.”
The beloved Prophet sall Allāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam then said,
“By the honour of Allah! I was that star.”
