“Let your tongue be always busy with the remembrance of Allah.”
- The person who offers Salaat Ul ‘Isha congregationally has as if spent half the night in worship and whoever offers Salaat Ul Fajr also congregationally, that man has as if spent the whole night in worship.
(Sahih Muslim, Hadith No. 656)
- “The best of deeds is that you leave this life while your tongue is wet with the remembrance of Allah.”
Prophet Mohammed (sallallahu alaihi wasallam)
- “There are two statements that are light for the tongue to remember, heavy in the Scales and are dear to the Merciful: `Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-Azim [Glory be to Allah and His is the praise, (and) Allah, the Greatest is free from imperfection)’.”Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (SW) said, recorded in [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
- Abu Dharr (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to me, “Shall I tell you the expression that is most loved by Allah?” It is `Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi’ (Allah is free from imperfection and His is the praise)’.”[Sahih Muslim].
