The Power of Saying Alhamdulillah

Saying Alhamdulillah

Thank Allah Ta’ala for His gifts

Thanking Allah – اَلحَمْدُ لِله

Whenever you utilize the blessing of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala), never forget the one who gave you that. When you view it as the blessing from Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) there won’t be any negligence. The only method is that one should ponder over the gifts bestowed upon him/her, which in turn will generate love towards Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) and one will start appreciating and respecting it. One will not only begin pronouncing Alhamdulillah by tongue but also will express his/her thanks through the other body parts and will never use those bounties in the disobedience of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala). Thus, we should regard and valve the important blessings of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) presented to us and be grateful to Him and should not become ungrateful.

Notwithstanding, when the bounties are presented to the people as opposed to being appreciative to Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) they disregard Him and becomes disobedient. They are given some leeway and they are given different signs. The disobedient slave thinks that, if this act of mine was wrong then why wasn’t I punished? He/she becomes bold and then there’s no limit of their disobedience. Now when the person reaches this point, then the door of evil and misfortune is opened and even now if he/she doesn’t return then they are completely ruined. Moreover one is also deprived of the forgiveness and thawab (reward) of the Judgment day.

When a slave of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) on seeing the bounties, expresses Alhamdulillah اَلحَمْدُ لِله , then all the eight doors of Jannah are opened wide for him/her and they are permitted to enter it, through whichever through whichever door they prefer.

On utterance of Alhamdulillah اَلحَمْدُ لِله  once he/she gets the 30 virtues. It fills the vacant space present between the Earth and the skies. On the second time utterance of اَلحَمْدُ لِله  Alhamdulillah by a slave, then its radiance fills the seventh heaven right up to seventh layer of the Earth. When the slave utters Alhamdulillah for the third time, Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) Himself turns His attention towards him/her. Only utterance of Alhamdulillah by tongue is not sufficient enough, we have to simultaneously spend it in the service of the slaves of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) and that is being real thankfulness.

Indeed human beings are very ungrateful. His/her greediness never allows them to respect the bounties. We assume whatever is not there in our fate as a bounty and strive for it. Such attempts result in complete destruction. There shouldn’t be any difference in the remembrance of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) before and after receiving a bounty. The heart should be in the same state in which it was earlier and certainly it can happen and this is what which is asked for. If a person immerses himself/herself completely in the gifts bestowed upon them and forgets the remembrance of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) then the gift is taken away. Envy and ungratefulness destroys the rewards

Alhamdulillah

Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala) never snatches away the gifts from His slaves on the basis of atheism but surely on the basis of ingratitude on the bestowed favors.

Ungratefulness of favors even converts the Halal (permissible) food into a Haram (Prohibited). Such as when a child at the time of breast feeding bites away, then the milk gets converted into blood. (www.ziaislamic.com)

HADITH :

Narrated from AYESHAh Razi Allahu anha, “When the Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم )  saw something that pleased him, he would say: Alhamdulillahil lathee bi ni’matihi tatimmus saalihaat, and when he saw something that displeased him, he would say: Alhamdulillah ‘alaa kuli haal. (Narrated in Sunan Ibn Maajah, classified as Saheeh according to Shaykh Albaani rahimahullah in Silsilatus Saheehah hadeeth 265)

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ Alhamdulillahil lathee bi ni’matihi tatimmus saalihaat means: All praise and thanks are only for Allah, the One who, by His blessing and favor, perfected goodness/good works are accomplished.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ Alhamdulillah ‘alaa kuli haal means: All praise and thanks are only for Allah in all circumstances.

Let’s revive the sunnah of saying Alhamdulillah in all situations inshaAllah!
