Rasool Allah ﷺ was once asked : What rights parents had over their children. He ﷺ replied: “They are your paradise and your Hell” A man came to the Prophet Mohammed ﷺ asking his permission to take part in jihad. The Prophet Mohammed ﷺ aske dhim, ” Are your parents alive?” He replied in the affirmative. The Prophet Mohammed ﷺ said to him, ” The exert yourself in their service.
